Private investigator Andrew Hunter is hired by Richard Carr, who’s desperate to find out what happened to his son who disappeared nine months ago on his 18th birthday. The police have turned up the gruesome evidence of three severed fingers found in a soggy wood on the outskirts of Manchester, but apart from that the case has gone cold.
